DAY WISE ITINERARY

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, where our representative will warmly welcome you. From this point, start your scenic journey to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, located in the Eastern Himalayas. The ride provides captivating vistas of valley mountains, and Teesta River. Upon arrival in Gangtok, check into your hotel and spend the remaining day either relaxing in your room or venturing out. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

After breakfast, embark on an exciting journey to the famous Tsomgo Lake, around 40 kilometers from Gangtok. Situated at a height of 3,753 meters (12,313 feet), the lake stays frozen throughout winter and changes colors with the seasons, providing a captivating view. Proceed to visit Baba Mandir, a temple dedicated to the esteemed Indian Army soldier, Baba Harbhajan Singh, celebrated for his legendary narrative and spiritual importance. Head back to Gangtok in the evening and enjoy a restful night at the hotel.

Note:

  • To access Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir, visitors need to have two passport-sized photos and a photocopy of valid identification (only Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID are accepted; Aadhaar and PAN cards are invalid).
  • For kids, an original birth certificate or school/college identification card is required.
  • If landslides or road blockages occur, alternative sightseeing options will be provided.
  • The visit to Nathula Pass requires a permit that is subject to availability, with an additional fee of ₹5,000. The pass is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

This morning, after breakfast, set out on a Gangtok city tour. Start with sweeping vistas from Tashi View Point, then proceed to Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok, serene temples situated amidst lush surroundings. Later, proceed to the lively Flower Exhibition Centre, famous for its seasonal Himalayan flowers. Head over to the Cottage Industry & Handicraft Centre, where you can observe traditional Sikkimese artistry. Next, visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays), a museum dedicated to preserving Tibetan culture and heritage. Take a trip to the tranquil Dro-dul Chorten Stupa and Gonjang Monastery. Ultimately, relax at the scenic Banjhakri Falls. Return to the hotel for a night stay in Gangtok.
