9-Day Leh Ladakh Tour Itinerary

Welcome to one of India’s top tourist destinations, Leh! Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and rest to acclimatize to the high-altitude environment. In the evening, take a relaxed stroll to explore nearby landmarks like Leh market. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Begin your journey through the majestic Indus Valley, also known as “Sham Valley.” Visit Phyang Monastery, the gravity-defying Magnetic Hill, and witness the stunning Sangam, the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. Stop at Alchi Monastery for ancient murals, and continue to Lamayuru, famously known as Moonland due to its otherworldly terrain. Overnight stay in a Lamayuru homestay.

Start early with a visit to Lamayuru Monastery. En route to Leh, explore the serene Rizong Monastery and the iconic 22-meter Buddha statue at Likir Monastery. Stop by Gurdwara Pathar Sahib and the Spituk Monastery. You can also visit (optional) the Hall of Fame Museum, commemorating the valor and sacrifice of Indian soldiers. Overnight stay in Leh.

Gear up for one of the world’s highest motorable passes, Khardung La (18,380 ft) that you will cross en route Nubra Valley.
