DAY WISE ITINERARY

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, where our representative will welcome you and assist you to Gangtok. After hotel check-in, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

After breakfast, head to Tsomgo Lake, one of the best places to visit in Sikkim. Situated at 3,753 m (12,313 ft), the lake freezes in winter and changes color with the seasons. Continue to Baba Mandir, a revered site, dedicated to an Indian soldier who is considered the protector of the region. Return to your hotel for a night stay.

  • Carry two passport-sized photos and a photocopy of a valid ID (Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID). PAN and Aadhaar cards are not accepted.
  • For children below 18, bring a birth certificate or school/college ID.
  • If Tsomgo Lake is inaccessible due to weather, alternate Gangtok sightseeing tour will be arranged.
  • Optional: Nathula Pass visit depends on permit availability and is chargeable at ₹5000/- per vehicle (closed Mondays & Tuesdays).

After a scenic drive through winding mountain roads and lush hillsides, arrive in Pelling, a peaceful hill town known for its stunning views of the Kanchenjunga range. Check into your hotel and get ready for the Pelling sightseeing tour. Visit Kanchenjunga Waterfalls, one of the most powerful and picturesque waterfalls in Sikkim. After breakfast, proceed to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Begin your day early with a sunrise view from Tiger Hill (8,364 ft / 2,550 m). If the weather is clear, you'll witness the breathtaking sight of the sun lighting up the snow-clad peaks of Kanchenjunga, and if you are lucky, even Mount Everest can be seen in the distance. On your return, visit the historic Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in the region, housing a majestic 15-foot statue of Maitreya Buddha. Continue to the Batasia Loop, a unique spiral railway track along with a war memorial honoring Gorkha soldiers.

After breakfast, proceed for a half-day local sightseeing tour. Begin at the serene Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda, both symbols of unity and tranquility. Next, visit the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, home to rare Himalayan wildlife including the red panda and snow leopard, and explore the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, established in honor of Tenzing Norgay (both closed on Thursdays). Enjoy a ride on the Darjeeling Ropeway (at your own cost), offering spectacular aerial views of the lush valleys and tea gardens. Later, visit Tenzing & Gombu Rock and explore the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (closed on Sundays), known for its handcrafted Tibetan woolen products and cultural exhibits.
