Itinerary

On arrival at Delhi International Airport, meet our executive and proceed to the pre-booked hotel in Delhi. Later meet our expert who will brief you about the programs and later in the evening, have a welcome dinner at one of the restaurants and try a variety of Indian specialities. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.

Get up early to explore Old Delhi before heading to Vrindavan. The tour starts at an old market, one of our favourite places to take pictures of locals, where the vendors are renowned for their exceptional vegetables and fruit. Next, explore the chaotic streets of Old Delhi, which is home to crowded bazaars and was founded by the Mughals in the 17th century. After breakfast, check out and drive to Vrindavan, return to our hotel.

Vrindavan, a city on the Yamuna River's banks, is a popular Hindu pilgrimage site in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. As devotees of Lord Krishna assemble in this temple town to celebrate Holi uniquely on the streets and in the various temples dotted around the region, the celebrations get more intense. Every year, millions of pilgrims flock to Vrindavan to celebrate Holi with great fervour and devotion, recreating the beautiful stories of Radha and Krishna. Overnight stay at hotel in Vrindavan.

Today, we will head to Barsana, the birthplace of Lord Krishna's beloved Radha. The quiet, spiritual community is popular for having a few unique Holi celebrations. Not only are colours used in Holi plays, but also flowers, watercolours, and a range of mythological role plays. We shall witness one such event, called "Laddu Holi."

A sizable crowd of devotees is what to expect, singing, dancing, and flinging colours at one another. The priests in the temple give laddus, an Indian delicacy that has been offered to the gods, along with colours. Both outside and within Barsana's temples, we will be taking pictures of the festivities.

Following an early wake-up call, we begin our tour with a visit to one of the world's seven wonders, the Taj Mahal, the renowned symbol of love. We will be taking pictures of the famous Taj Mahal at various angles as the sun rises. The magnificent Taj Mahal, erected by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, is regarded as the symbol of Indian pride. Utilise the dim light of early dawn to get several angles of the Taj Mahal. This historical site is ideal for creative photography endeavours like manipulating reflections, creating unique angles, and capturing monochromatic images.

Next, we will travel to the village of Nandgaon, where Lord Krishna lived, to witness the joy of this fun event. Take in another fascinating and unusual Holi event called Lathmar Holi, which is regarded as playful and humorous. It is believed that Radha and her friends chased Krishna and the others with sticks while teasing them. Thus, the "Holi of sticks" or "Lathmar Holi" began. As part of the festivities, ladies are seen chasing local males while carrying sticks and colours.

After breakfast, we tour Lord Krishna's land during this auspicious festival of Holi. The Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan will be the focal point of today's Holi celebration photographic session. The idol of Bihari Ji, another name for Lord Krishna, is brought closer to the followers to participate in Holi festivities while dressed in white garments.

Celebrations begin with everyone flinging flower petals (Phool) at each other, and priests also sprinkle petals on devotees. The bright hues of lotuses, marigolds, and roses give Holi a distinct look than normal. People dance to the background tunes as the celebrations intensify to a ferocious crescendo.

On the final day of the trip, we will spend the morning shooting the temples of Vrindavan. We will capture the historical streets and areas of Vrindavan. Photography at the Holi festival is about more than just taking images; it is about joining the Indian community's huge celebration and preserving the festive moments spent with the locals.

We next head to Delhi, where we have our farewell dinner to wrap off our journey. Have a great time laughing and having fun this evening as we recall our Holi memories. Later transfer to airport as per your flight schedule.
