Day wise Itinerary

Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to a charming houseboat. Upon arrival, check into the houseboat. In the evening, enjoy a serene two-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake sighting the floating gardens and vibrant aquatic life. Overnight stay and dinner are arranged at the houseboat.

A scenic drive leads to Pahalgam, famously known as the Shepherds’ Village. It is surrounded by pine forests and glacial streams and you can explore Betaab Valley, Chandanwari, and Baisaran meadows on horseback (optional). After enjoying the valley’s natural splendour, the group returns to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the houseboat.

Note: Sightseeing within Pahalgam is restricted to local taxis and horseback, as outside vehicles are not permitted to operate in the area. For the local taxi and horseback, payment needs to be made directly to them.

The day begins with a visit to Shankaracharya Temple, followed by a spiritual stop at the Hazratbal Mosque on the western shores of Dal Lake. Later, explore the grand Jama Masjid and the exquisite Mughal Gardens — Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. Dinner and overnight stay on the houseboat in Srinagar.

After breakfast, drive through scenic Tangmarg and colourful villages to reach Gulmarg. A gondola ride takes travellers to the lower ridge of the Apharwat Mountains, offering panoramic Himalayan views. Horse-riding to the Strawberry Valley is optional. Evening return to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay.

Today, check out of the houseboat and drive to Sonmarg. Driving further, travellers pass Drass, the world’s second coldest inhabited place before visiting the Kargil War Memorial at Tololing. Arrival in Kargil by evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Post breakfast, the journey continues through the dramatic landscapes of Lamayuru, often compared to the moon's surface. En route, travellers stop at the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, Magnetic Hill, and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Arrival in Leh is followed by hotel check-in and rest.

The day begins with panoramic views from Shanti Stupa, followed by visits to Leh Palace and Stok Palace & Museum. Stops at Spituk Monastery and the Kaali Mata Mandir add spiritual depth. You will also visit the famous “3 Idiots School.” Evening is free for shopping and leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Check out of the hotel and cross Khardung La, one of the world’s highest motorable passes. Descend to the enchanting Nubra Valley, and upon arrival, check in at a hotel or camp. Later, enjoy a ride on double-humped (Bactrian) camels in the dunes of Hunder. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Set out on a day trip to Turtuk, a hidden gem near the Indo-Pak border, which offers a distinct cultural experience.
