About This Tour
The Harsil-Sangla Trek along the Lamkhaga Pass is the most challenging trek all along the Garhwal valleys. The Lamkhaga Pass that connects the north-eastern Garhwal and Himachal Pradesh is bounded by a tantalizing landscape of snow filled mountains and mysterious atmosphere. The Harsil-Sangla trek is long and at times cranky and shaggy trek to the pass that involves steep ascents over the scree and the ice. Trailing across the ranges brings the adventure freaks the precarious crossing of glaciers and streams gaining over 8000 ft in the space from Harsil at 9000 ft to 17335 ft at the pass. And along with such fascinations the other rewards can be felt are lush green valley, stunning vistas of towering peaks and stacks of glaciers and enormous fields of snow.
Trekking across the Lamkhaga Pass brings the fascinating walks, picnics and hiking around the undiscovered stretches of green, grassy land. Besides this, Harsil is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Sightings at such regions will include the famous Wilson Cottage, built in 1864 and Sat Tal (seven Lakes). The adventure freaks have the choice to explode various treks that carry them towards beautiful meadows, waterfalls and valleys. Situated amidst the incredible beauty of mountain peaks, Harsil is counted amongst some of the most beautiful places in the Garhwal region.
