6- Day- Majestic Ladakh Tour Detailed Itinerary

Day 01 Arrive in Leh (Full Day Rest in Leh for Acclimatization)

Upon reaching Leh, meet our representative and get transferred to your hotel for relaxation and acclimatization. It is essential to acclimate before heading for any Ladakh tour. In the evening, one can explore the vibrant market of Leh. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02 Sham Valley to Sangam

After breakfast, head out for the Sham Valley sightseeing tour. Begin your exploration at the Hall of Fame, a museum built by the Indian Army to commemorate the valour and sacrifice of the Indian soldiers. Then continue to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, a revered Sikh religious site. Another 4 km drive leads to Magnetic Hill, where you can enjoy the thrill of witnessing vehicles moving up the road on their own. Next, arrive at the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar River at Sangam. After this, drive back to Leh and en route make a stop at Spituk Gompa, a 15th century monastery, which is home to 100 monks and a giant statue of Kali. Day 03 Leh – Khardung La – Nubra Valley (approximately 120 KMS)

Post breakfast, begin your scenic drive to Nubra Valley, a journey of approximately 4 to 5 hours. En route, make a memorable stop at Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes in the world, standing tall at around 18,380 feet above sea level. Take in breathtaking views of the Indus Valley, framed by snow-clad peaks. If the weather remains clear, you’ll also catch a glimpse of the majestic Karakoram mountain range on the other side of the pass.

Upon arrival in Nubra, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, head to the Hunder sand dunes just before sunset for an unforgettable experience, exploring the desert landscape and enjoying a ride on the iconic double-humped Bactrian camels. If time allows, take a leisurely village walk to immerse yourself in the local culture and connect with the warm-hearted community. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 04 Pangong Lake – Nubra Valley

After breakfast, set out on a picturesque drive along the stunning Shyok River en route to Pangong Lake. Originating from the Rimo Glacier, the Shyok’s crystal-clear water appears as if draped in a blanket of sparkling diamonds. Upon arrival at Pangong, check in to your scenic lakeside campsite and unwind. Spend your evening at leisure, relaxing by the tranquil lake or exploring the serene surroundings. Later, enjoy a dinner at the campsite before settling in for an overnight stay amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Himalayas.

Day 05 Leh - Pangong Lake

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the campsite. Spend some more time at Pangong Lake before starting your return journey. En route, stop by Chang La, another high altitude mountain pass that is also known for hosting the world's highest research station. Upon arrival at your hotel in Leh, check-in and get some rest. Later, visit Druk Padma Karpo School of the Bollywood flick, 3 Idiots’ fame. After this exciting day, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 06 Departure from Leh

In the morning, following breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
