Delhi is India's capital city where the North India birding watching adventure begins as we move forward to our first bird watching destination in the itinerary which is Chambal, visitors encounter a variety of landscapes, hills, and forests in addition to water bodies around the sanctuary. Hundreds of bird species can be spotted all around, but our birding expedition of Chambal widely focuses particularly on the Sarus Cranes and other wetland birds. After experiencing the beauty of the region, we move back to Delhi to prepare for the birding adventure at Corbett.
The areas around Corbett National Park are said to have the best bird watching places in Indiaas the Kosi River and Kumeria village are such places where one may see a lot of aquatic birds along with Ibis Bill, Brown Dipper, Forktails, Leafbirds, Tits and Sunbirds with assistance from bird experts. There are grasslands, meadows, and lush woods that host several interesting bird species of North India. While touring the land of Corbett, stalling at Ramganga River and passing through the Bijrani and Dhikala zones is a great option as it is a great spot in India where visitors may witness the breathtaking sight of migratory birds.
After touring Corbett, we will move forward towards Pangot Village in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. Tens of thousands of wildlife lovers, photographers, birdwatchers, and vacationers visit Pangot which is also called the 'Pheasant capital of the Himalayas' every year to admire its unique biodiversity.
