Head out for a breathtaking day trip to Tsomgo Lake, a sacred glacial lake situated at altitude of 3,780 m. Later, visit the revered Baba Mandir, dedicated to an Indian soldier. Return to Gangtok by evening for a night stay.

Check out of your hotel in Thimphu, and drive to Punakha, stopping at the scenic Dochu-La Pass (3150 m) adorned with chortens and fluttering prayer flags. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Later, explore the historic Iron Chain Bridge and the majestic Punakha Dzong, followed by an easy hike to Chhimi Lhakhang, the Temple of Fertility. Overnight stay in Punakha.
Today, after checking out of your hotel, drive to Paro. En route, stop at Lamperi’s Royal Botanical Park, home to diverse Himalayan flora. Upon arrival, check into your hotel in Paro. Later, visit Ta Dzong, the National Museum, followed by Rinpung Dzong, a striking fortress known as the “heap of jewels.” Overnight stay in Paro.
Embark on a rewarding hike to the legendary Taktshang Monastery/Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest). Clinging dramatically to a cliff 900 m above the Paro Valley, the monastery is the sacred site where Guru Rinpoche flew to in a tiger’s back. On the way back, stop by the historic Drukgyel Dzong, offering stunning views of Mount Jhomolhari, Bhutan’s tallest mountain peak. Overnight stay in Paro.
