Our package tour offers a 15-day and 14-night journey where you will be filled with the vibrant history of this region from ancient temples to French colonies which tells the story of France.

Itinerary

On arrival at Chennai International airportmeet our representative, who will take you to the Mahabalipuram a town in Tamil Nadu and check into your hotel. Overnight stay in hotel.

On the 2nd day, after your tempting breakfast, we will visit an ancient temple known as Shore Temple, located on the edge of the Bay of Bengal. This picturesque monument, which is constructed in Dravidian style and depicts the royal taste of the Pallava dynasty. Made of granite blocks, it is the first temple of South India, due to which this temple is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

After seeing this heritage site, we will meet the fishermen who are coming back after catching fish and we will learn more about the temple from them and you'll spend the night in Mahabalipuram.

On the 3rd day, we will take you to Pondicherry, a French colony that offers a beautiful amalgamation of traditional Indian sensibilities and French architecture. You'll visit the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, a place where you can experience the spiritual and moksha with tranquil atmosphere. It was founded by Sri Aurobindo Ghosh.

Way back to the city, we will take you to the White Town, where you can sightsee French culture. It was established by the French East India Company (FEIC) in 1674, which will tell you about the culture of France, its architecture and lifestyle. Then we will take you to the French war Memorial, Located on Goubert Avenue, it's dedicated to the soldiers, who died during World War I. Then we will go to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, a mother cathedral of the Roman Catholic. This monument has an amalgamation of French and Portuguese style architecture and the last destination of Pondicherry is the Gandhi Monument; it is dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and Located in the heart of the city. In the morning, we will drive to Chidambaram for Nataraja Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva, as the Lord of Dance. Then we will drive to Tanjore to visit the Brihadishwara temple, a World Heritage site under UNESCO. It was established by the Chola dynasty in the 11th century by Raja Raja Chola I. It is also dedicated to Lord Shiva, and is worshiped here.

This temple also has a fort and is considered as Thanjavur Fort. It was built by the Nayaks and later expanded by the Marathas. The fort houses several important structures for sightseeing, including the palace, a museum, and the famous Saraswathi Mahal Library. Overnight stay at the hotel.

In the morning, after a delicious breakfast, we will drive to Madurai, our last destination in Tamil Nadu, where you can visit the Meenakshi Amman Temple, a very famous Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Meenakshi, an incarnation of Parvati. This temple showcases Dravidian architecture and features many small partson carved pillars, each with unique designs and telling stories to you. Overnight stay at the hotel.

In the morning, we will take you for the sightseeing tour of the Madurai markets which is known as home of spices, where you can explore the famous spices include turmeric, cumin, coriander, cardamom etc, apart from the species you can also look the flower and vegetables in the market. Also visit the Thirumalai Nayakar Palace, the Gandhi Museum, and some clothing factories. In your Madurai tour. Overnight stay at the hotel.

On the 7th day we will leave for the Munnar from where your journey to Kerala will start. A beautiful hill station situated in the Western Ghats of Kerala. Known for its lush green tea plantations, rolling hills, and pleasant climate, a popular destination for tourists. You'll check in at the hotel. After taking some rest we can explore tea farms. It is famous for its expansive tea estates, where you can visit and learn about tea processing, and take samples of various types of tea. Munnar is rich in biodiversity, with various spices grown in the region. Overnight stay at the hotel.

On the 8th day we will take you to the Thekkady, a popular destination amongst tourists. It's known for its rich biodiversity and scenic beauty. Located near the Periyar National Park, Thekkady is famous for its wildlife, spice plantations, and tranquil lakes, traditional dance performances, and Ayurvedic treatments, you'll get lost in this local culture. Afternoon you'll check in at the hotel and see all these places and become the witness of the spice plantations, learn traditional dance, and if weather allows, we will do a spice walk in Kumley. Overnight stay at hotel.

In the morning, we will depart for Alleppey and your leisurely house boat is waiting for you in Alleppey. Once you're in Alleppey you'll see the tranquil beauty through the cruise and offer the rare beauty of Kerala's natural beauty. In cruise we will give you the chance to walk through the villages which are nestled in the rice and coconut plantations, activities of the locals from fishing to farming. In the morning, after your breakfast, we head to our vehicle and head towards the Kochi road, which is located in the Arabian Sea. Kochi, also known as Cochin, is a vibrant city that gives the picturesque views of backwaters making it a main attraction for visitors. We will see an island, which is the main port from where boats depart to the foreign destination. You have a chance to see this colonial architecture and heritage buildings of Portuguese, Dutch, British, and local traditions give you the blend of these cultures. Overnight stay at the hotel.

In the morning, after breakfast, our journey will start with the fish market. It is one of the busiest and oldest markets in Kerala, where you can talk with the fish seller and learn more about the market. Then we can visit the St. Francis church. And complete your sightseeing tour of Cochin with the kathakali dance in the evening but before kathakali we also explore the spice wholesaler market which is nearby to the fish market. Overnight stay at the hotel.

On the 12th day we will head towards the Janardhan Swami Temple, also known as Ananthapadmanabha Swamy Temple, Lord Anardhan Swami, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This temple tells the Kerala architecture, intricate wood carvings and murals, making it a main attraction for visitors. After lunch we will reach Kovalam, a popular beach destination for tourists. You'll check into the hotel and in the evening, you can visit the beach and explore nearby places on your own. Overnight stay at a hotel with dinner included.

Morning after a delicious breakfast, we drive to Trivandrum which is 37 min away from Kovalam, where we can visit the Shree Padhmanabhaswamy temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. In your leisure evening you can do whatever you want. Overnight stay at the hotel.

On the 14th day we will visit the Kanyakumari, which is 2 hr 45 min away from Trivandrum and sightseeing at the Kanyakumari Temple. It is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and tells you the story of Shakti and Lord Shiva. In your leisure evening you can do whatever you want. Overnight stay at the hotel.

On this day you can take an ayurvedic massage or you can explore the beaches, later we will depart to Trivandrum airport, which is 20 kms away from Kanyakumari to your onward destination.
