Discover the immense pleasure of Yoga and meditation in the Himalayas, a practice Indian sage have done for ages, during our two-week Yoga, Meditation and Trekking Tour in the Himalayas. This mindful excursion revolves around the bewitching hill station of Manali, decorated with hues of green woods and white snow.

Set in the northern Kullu Valley, recognised as the end of the habitable world, this journey revolves around the orchards and thickets around Manali. Pass through different remote villages of Himachal, explore the crude form of nature, relish the cool and crisp air on long forest walks, and trek to the top of the hill, all while practising Yoga daily under the guidance of experienced instructors.

Itinerary

On arrival at Delhi international airport meet our representative and later transfer to the hotel and check in. Rest for the remaining day or perhaps explore the neighbourhood, if time allows. Overnight at the hotel in Delhi.

Before taking the bus to Manali, we will explore some world-renowned heritage sites like the Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, and India Gate. We will detour through the Parliament House of India as we proceed to the Bus Terminal. Board the bus for a night's travel. Dinner midway.Overnight on the bus.

Open your eyes amidst the beautiful mountains of Manali in the morning. Alighted the bus to immediately cherish the quaint atmosphere of this high-altitude valley. Check into the hotel.

Manali is an evergreen heaven at the foothills of the Great Himalayas. Popular for unmatched serenity, Manali is also referred to as the "valley of God" for its hundreds of temples.Join the orientation and introduction with the Yoga master after lunch.Night stay at the hotel in Manali.

The day starts with soothing the nerves in the morning yoga session. Fresh-n-up and explore the valley afterwards. Visit the Pagoda-style Hadimba Temple, dedicated to a demoness who married the mighty Pandava prince, Bhim. For more raw Himalayan experience explore Old Manali. Visit Manu Temple in Old Manali.Attend the evening Yoga session practising the rhythmic flow of breath in Pranayamas.Overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.

Attend the two-hour yoga session early in the morning while enjoying the splendid landscape of mountains at sunrise. Afterwards, traverse through villages around Manali to explore the local's life. Capture the beautiful landscapes through your camera lenses. Have lunch facing the Solang valley in the Rohtang mountain range. Overnight stay at Manali.

After the soulful yoga session at sunrise, return to the hotel to freshen up. After breakfast, leave for the Vashistha Village, 3 kilometres from Manali. Visit Lord Ram and Sage Vashishtha Temple. You can also take a dip in the hot spring besides the Vashishtha temple. If time allows, trek to the Vashishtha waterfall, and then return to the hotel.Overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.

Today we will visit the ancient town of Naggar, 20 kilometres from Manali. Explore the Castle of Naggar, a wood and stone mansion of Kullu's King from the 15th century, which is now turned into a heritage hotel. The castle boasts its exclusive view of Kullu valley from its courtyard. Further, visit the Tripura Sundari Mandir and Gauri Shankar Temple in the town.

If left with time, we will visit the Ancient Gayatri Mandir and Shiv Temple in Jagatsukh, on the way back to Manali.Join the evening yoga session to practise silence sitting and yoga therapy.Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast in the morning, transfer to the starting point of Bhanara Village trek, about 10 kilometres from Manali. Trek to the Nag Mandir (Temple of Snake God) in Bhanara Village; Mule or porters carry the trekking accessories to the village. Hike till the campsite, surrounded by pine cedar forest. Establish the camp and join the yoga and meditation session for the evening. Overnight stay in the camp.

Today, start hiking early after having breakfast. Trek uphill to reach the viewpoint from where you can savour the extended view of the whole Kullu-Manali Valley. From every town in the bottom of the Kullu Valley to the highest peak like Hanuman Tibba, is visible from the highest point of this trek. You can expect compact snow layers on this trek during spring (April - early May). Return to the campsite.Overnight stay in the camp.

Today, walk over the high valleys exploring the dense forest of the hill. Spend the day exploring the variety of flora, fauna, and bird species around. You may find traces of Himalayan Black Bear. In the afternoon, Return to the camp.Night stay in the camp.

Today start descending, and reach Bhanara village in a few hours. Trek downward further to the ancient village of Jagatsukh. Visit the temples in Jagatsukh village and soon get transferred to your hotel. Night stay at the hotel.

Today, explore more of the local culture from the locals. Try cooking a few local recipes with the villagers. Spend the afternoon exploring markets and souvenir shops in the villages. Night stay at the hotel.

Spend the morning at leisure. Transfer to the bus station in the afternoon and board the bus to Delhi. Have your meals at the stops on the way.

Arrive Delhi and check into the hotel. Spend your rest of the time exploring food and marketplaces, and depart for your onward destination in the afternoon.
